Congratulations New Franchisees!

As I Can Read® continues to expand, Total Literacy International is aware that it is essential to act decisively to ensure that students receive the most constructive and beneficial learning experiences available. Accordingly, Total Literacy (Singapore) has successfully concluded initiatives at the Simei, White Sands and Harbourfront Centres and will be making some very pro-active, positive and visible changes around those centres.

Firstly, Total Literacy (Singapore) has facilitated the sale of I Can Read Simei, I Can Read Harbourfront and I Can Read White Sands to new franchise teams.  For I Can Read(R) to continue to grow at its current rate, it must continue to offer the best possible environment for students; therefore, it is essential to ensure that centres are operated by professional, dynamic and pro-active owners. The new franchisees have been selected by Total Literacy because they represent those qualities.

Secondly, Total Literacy (Singapore) has acted to terminate the employment of the former Senior Manager of the Simei and Harbourfront centres. It is vital that students and their parents are provided with the most rigorous levels of customer service and administrative assistance possible and that teachers and managers are able to work in a productive and fulfilling environment. The new members of the centres' ownership and management teams will facilitate these requirements in a very effective and noticeable fashion.

In addition to the changes in personnel, the new owners will be conducting renovations, updating the corporate appearance and re-painting the foyers and hallways. Classrooms will be audited by senior TLS staff to ensure that they continue to meet the stringent Total Literacy standards which have provided I Can Read(R) with its excellent reputation in the marketplace.
