Watch this video and be inspired: It was compiled from contributions from students and supervisors of the June Literacyland camp.
Are you a parent? A teacher? A student? Would you love to be part of a school camp for primary children in Kangaroo Valley, one of the largest natural valleys in the world and, we believe, the most beautiful? Would you like to be one of a small group staying in luxurious accommodation on five riverfront acres, barbecues, picnics, music, toasting marshmallows, patting kangaroos…?
Check out the video to see what a wonderful time primary students from Indonesia had at Literacyland:  in June this year. Hosted by Tony and Annabel, creators of the I Can Read System, the camp unfolded over ten days in beautiful Kangaroo Valley, New South Wales. Accompanied by two teachers from the I Can Read System centre in Jakarta, the students, teachers and supervisors accompanied the students throughout the camp and attended the farewell night where students presented their final speeches and received their formal presentation of grades and certificates.
Camps are tailor-made to the group’s requirements. This group requested public speaking skills and each student gained important oral presentation skills as well as the confidence to speak in front of the group and participate in peer evaluation.
Visit for more information about school camps or email if you have between 8 and 16 students who wish to improve literacy skills such as reading, creative writing, oral presentation, comprehension, spelling and grammar…
Australian students may be met in Sydney for transportation to Literacyland in Kangaroo Valley, or parents may bring them directly to Literacyland. Students from overseas will be met at Sydney airport and transported to Kangaroo Valley by car or coach.
